Hello:) I’m Aubrey Carr, Miss Teen Earth SW Florida, and since July 22nd. 2009, also Miss Teen Water United States.
I was very excited to represent Florida at the Miss Teen Earth United States pageant July 22 in Nevada and even more when I heard my name called in the top 10, then the top 4 and finally crowned as Miss Teen Water United States 2009. I love listening to what children have to say about the environment. If you haven’t already guessed, I love to work with children. I have created a beach clean-up program in my school with Friends of Lowdermill and Keep Collier Beautiful, two local organizations. This is a great way for our schools to be involved in keeping our beautiful coastal resources clean and healthy.
I also volunteer for different organizations and take the "green message" with me so I can show others how they can also protect the environment. As a titleholder, I've been a workshop developer and leader and I have actively participated in recycling and forestation efforts in Florida. I’m a former gymnast so you can always see me walking on my hands or flipping around anywhere. I am currently enrolled at Florida Gulf Coast University in the collegiate high school program. This program will let me graduate from high school and complete my freshman year of college simultaneously (Note: I just made the Dean's list at college!!!). I have a genuine interest in physical therapy and I would really like to earn a doctorate and work with athletes. I also want to minor in dance.
When I need some time to relax, I always head for the beach to soak up the sun, sleep, and squish my toes in the wet sand.
 ************************I have the most amazing best friend, Maggie, who has never let me down. I’ve known her since we were in diapers so we are nearly sisters. She’s my blond twin:) Without her, I wouldn’t be who I am today. ************************
One of my most favorite learning experiences so far as a titleholder was taking a tour of the Naples Landfill and a tour of one of the Collier County Recycling Centers. I never realized how environmentally aware both organizations are! Since I was crowned as Miss Teen Earth SW Florida, I have been a special guest of the Miami Fashion Week, I have participated in several fashion shows and photo shoots and I was selected as a featured showcase model within the Spring 2010 editions of Pageantry and PromTime (2 separate covers) as well as featured within the Winter 2009 special digital version which included the special preview of the fashion showcase!

I love to dance and express myself through different movements. I study ballet, contemporary, jazz and Pointe dance styles.
